Dehradun: After Operation Sindoor, on the instructions of the Central Government, the police conducted a verification campaign in the city and rural areas. During this, challans were issued for not getting the verification of 451 tenants, servants and laborers done. Apart from this, 115 suspicious people were brought to the police station and questioned. SSP Ajay Singh said that after Operation Sindoor, instructions were received from the government to remain alert. Only after this, the police force was deployed in the verification campaign in the city and rural areas. During this, more than two thousand people were verified.
Challans will be issued for people who did not get verification done. Along with this, suspicious people were brought to the police station and questioned. Police, along with paramilitary forces, also patrolled many areas of the city. Keeping an eye on the situation, instructions have been given to the police to remain alert at all times.
