Police stopped the convoy of Yamunotri MLA Sanjay Doval near Chunakhala on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. Police said the road was blocked due to a JCB machine breakdown, but MLA Sanjay Doval alleged that the government was trying to prevent his siege program.
Doval said the police were stopping his supporters at various locations. He and his supporters set out on foot for Dehradun. The road closures left them stranded for hours, with long traffic jams on both sides.
