New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) held its parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and newly elected party chief Nitin Nabin were present at the meeting. BJP President Nitin Nabin, along with NDA MPs, welcomed PM Modi. PM Modi was thanked for the India-US trade deal.
After the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “The new BJP President Nitin Nabin was welcomed. There is great enthusiasm in the country regarding the historic trade deal under the leadership of PM Modi. MPs were also excited about the 9 trade deals, FTAs, the India-EU FTA, and the agreement with the US yesterday, and the announcement of tariff reductions. Therefore, PM Modi was honored at the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting. He was congratulated for the historic trade deal. FTAs have been signed with 39 countries. This is historic. These are 39 developed countries.” The Parliamentary Affairs Minister further said, “The discussion on the President’s address is underway. It started well in the Lok Sabha, but the entire debate was disrupted yesterday only because of Rahul Gandhi. There was also a good debate in the Rajya Sabha. It is not good that the discussion in the Lok Sabha was disrupted because of one person.
May God give him good sense. I hope he will mend his ways today. He doesn’t speak well in debates, but he shouldn’t harm others. There are many MPs in the Congress and the opposition who debate well, give good suggestions, and want to speak, but their time is also being wasted because of Rahul Gandhi.” Earlier, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and Lok Janshakti Party MP Chirag Paswan arrived at the Parliament Annexe building to attend the meeting. Top NDA leaders participated in it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and NDA ministers and MPs were present at the meeting.
