Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct an aerial survey of the disaster-hit areas of Uttarakhand on Thursday. After this, a high-level meeting will be held in which all aspects related to the disaster will be discussed. PM Modi will hold three meetings.
First at 5:45 pm, he will meet the flood-affected families at the State Guest House, Dehradun. After this, at 5:55 pm, he will meet the NDRF, SDRF and Aapda Mitra team at the State Guest House, Dehradun. Finally, at 6:05 pm, he will hold a review meeting in Dehradun.
After Kedarnath, this year the state has seen the most disasters. Due to this, properties worth about 1900 crores of government institutions were destroyed. Villages have suffered large-scale damage. There has been loss of life as well as animal loss.
Due to disasters and rain, landslides are continuing in many areas. In view of this loss, the state government has sought a relief amount of Rs 5702 crore from the Center, for which the central team has also inspected.

From here, he will leave with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to conduct an aerial survey of the disaster-affected areas. After this, he will hold a high-level review meeting with officials in Dehradun at five o’clock. After this, he will return to Delhi.
