Ajmer: PM Narendra Modi is addressing a large public gathering at Kayad Vishram Sthal in Ajmer today. He arrived at Kishangarh Airport by a special Air Force aircraft. He received a grand welcome at Kishangarh Airport. PM Modi launched, inaugurated, and laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth ₹16,680 crore in Ajmer, including urban development, national highways, drinking water projects, the power grid, industrial sectors, health, and education. In addition, PM Modi also launched a nationwide campaign for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination for girls aged 14 years and older. This initiative aims to prevent cervical cancer, a leading cause of cancer in women.
PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Ajmer will be beneficial for the state. He will bestow several gifts upon the state. These include a four-lane Greenfield Expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur, promoting the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Sampark Yojana (PMSSY), a six-lane exercise-controlled green highway in the Package 7 section of the Amritsar Punjab Urban Economic Corridor, and an eight-lane carriageway in the Package 14 section of the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway Controlled Greenfield Expressway.
Furthermore, the foundation stone will be laid for a four-lane elevated road in Jodhpur city, the Mal Bamori Mangrol Baran State Highway in District 12, two-lane with shoulders from Shahpura to Thanagazi, eight-lane road from NH 76 to the junction with NH 12 near Ummed village, road construction from Devgarh to the Gujarat border, and the widening and strengthening of the Jaisalmer-Sam Dhanana Road.
To strengthen the energy sector in Rajasthan, PM Modi will also inaugurate transmission systems for power evacuation from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZs). He will also lay the foundation stone for a 220 kV grid substation, a 2400 kV grid substation, and translation lines. Furthering his commitment to employment generation and youth empowerment, PM Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to over 21,800 youth in various government departments in Rajasthan.
