Darbhanga/Muzaffarpur: Campaigning for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections is in full swing. Today, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed election rallies in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur. Appealing for the victory of BJP candidate Murari Mohan Jha in Keoti, he said that the faith-respecting people of Bihar are with the NDA government. He compared the leaders of the India Alliance to Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys. Although he did not explicitly name them, he was referring to Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav.
“Three Monkeys in the India Alliance”: CM Yogi said that Mahatma Gandhi had three monkeys. Now, the India Alliance also has three monkeys: Pappu, Tappu, and Appu, who are roaming around Bihar. Pappu cannot speak the truth, Tappu cannot see well, and Appu cannot hear well. All of them are blind to the development of Bihar and the country. This pair of monkeys, along with the family and mafia, want to compromise Bihar’s security.
“You must have heard about Gandhi’s three monkeys. Today, the Indy alliance has three more monkeys of its own: Pappu, Tappu, and Appu. Pappu cannot speak the truth. Tappu cannot see the truth, and Appu cannot hear the truth. These three monkeys are trying to compromise Bihar’s security by luring and making followers of the family mafia. These people have pitted caste against caste in Bihar.” – Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh
Attack on Lalu: Targeting RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Yogi said that he did not develop Bihar during his 15-year rule, but only developed his own family. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that PM Modi says that this country with a population of 140 crore is his family, but for Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi’s family is his family. He cannot think beyond his party and family.
‘Shared Heritage of UP-Bihar’: Yogi Adityanath said that the relationship between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is not just a relationship, but a shared heritage. There is a connection of one soul, a connection of one culture, and also a connection of one resolve. This relationship is as unbreakable as the relationship between Lord Ram and Mother Janaki. The UP CM said that the SP, an ally of the RJD, used to spread anarchy there. What plight they are facing today? You all know this. Yogi also praised the work of CM Nitish Kumar.
Addressed in Muzaffarpur: While addressing a public meeting in Muzaffarpur, Yogi Adityanath said that from 1992 to 2005, there was a curfew-like situation in Bihar after 6 pm. The Patna High Court had commented that the government in Bihar was being run by goons. Paper leaks had become a business. The poor were not getting rations, but there was also a fodder scam worth Rs 900 crore related to animal feed. Bihar’s farmers were forced to migrate, and no entrepreneur was willing to set up shop.
What did Yogi Adityanath say?: The UP CM said that whenever someone questioned the development work in Bihar, such as roads being built, they (RJD) would say that roads should not be built, otherwise the police might come to stop your wrongdoing. What kind of environment did these people create in Bihar? Hereditary robbers gave birth to hereditary mafias, and they want to repeat the same thing again.
