Dehradun: Uttarakhand will once again see a change in weather. Due to the deterioration of weather from today, Friday, for the next three days, relief from heat can be found in the plains. Cold can be felt in the mountainous areas. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, yellow and orange alerts have been issued for gusty winds for these three days.
According to the forecast issued by the Center, on April 18, a yellow alert has been issued for gusty winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in Uttarkashi, Tehri, Pauri, Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts including Dehradun.
While on the next day, April 19, an orange alert has been issued for gusty winds at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers in some areas of Haldwani, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar including Dehradun. While on April 20 also the weather will remain changed across the state.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain and hailstorm in many parts of the state during 18 to 19 April. Center director Bikram Singh said, due to rain, hailstorm and gusty winds, a drop in temperature can be recorded. Due to which there will be relief from heat in the plains and cold will be felt in the mountains.
