Roorkee: Action is going on against fake babas in Haridwar district. Jhabreda police station has arrested a fake baba under Operation Kalanemi. Actually, the fake baba caught was begging by posing as Satish in the police station area. In police investigation, Satish’s name has come out to be Salim, police took action against him by registering a case under relevant sections. Police says that the action being taken against fake babas will continue in future as well.
Operation Kalanemi being run in Uttarakhand against fake babas is going on continuously. Due to this, fake babas are being caught under Operation Kalanemi being run in Haridwar district on the instructions of SSP Haridwar Pramod Dobal. Under Operation Kalanemi, continuous action was being taken to verify fake sadhus and babas and suspicious persons by hiding their names and identities in the police station area. In the same sequence, the outpost in-charge Iqbalpur sub-inspector Nitin Bisht was informed by the villagers of Sunheti Alapar that a person is roaming in the village and he is begging in the nearby villages, while the said person is telling his name as Satish, which seems suspicious.
On this information, the police reached the spot and the said person was brought to the outpost Iqbalpur and questioned. In the police interrogation, the said person told his real name as Salim son Hanif resident of Raisi Laksar, currently resident of town police station Jhabreda, after which the police took action against the person. SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal said that the fake Baba who begged in Jhabreda police station area by changing his name has been taken into custody, against whom challan action has been taken, he said that the action of Operation Kalanemi will continue continuously. Said that the fake Babas will not be spared under any circumstances.
