On the occasion of Vijay Diwas (Victory Day), Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami honored the wives of fallen soldiers. At a tribute and felicitation ceremony held at Gandhi Park, CM Dhami also honored ex-servicemen who participated in the 1971 war. During the event, he said that today is a day of great pride.
On this very day, more than 90,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered. The Chief Minister also highlighted the achievements of the state government and announced that five government vehicles would be provided to the Soldier Welfare Office and Directorate
