On the auspicious occasion of Ashtami, the festival of worship of Shakti, a large and grand feast was organized today under the joint auspices of the nursing officers of Uttarakhand Medical College and the Nursing Federation of Uttarakhand. This event became a living symbol of the grace and blessings of Goddess Durga, where a unique confluence of service, dedication, and devotion was witnessed.
The program began in the morning with the ritualistic worship of Mother Goddess and the chanting of mantras. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy. After the worship, delicious prasad and a feast were arranged for the devotees, which was attended by thousands of devotees throughout the day.
Devotees who came to the feast praised the organizers’ spirit of service while accepting the food offerings. A wonderful combination of devotion and enthusiasm was visible at the venue.
The nursing officers, faculty members, and workers of the Nursing Federation of the Nursing College contributed with complete dedication to this religious event. By volunteering, they spread the message that medical workers exemplify humanity not only in hospitals but at every level of society.
Strict arrangements were made for cleanliness and security.
Throughout the event, special attention was paid to all aspects of cleanliness, security, and order. Numerous support stalls and first aid centers were also set up for the convenience of devotees.
