Now there is a possibility of administrative reshuffle in Dhami government, there may be a change in the charges of senior bureaucrats
Dehradun: After the appointment of the new head of the administrative system, now there is a possibility of administrative reshuffle in the Dhami government. There may be a change in the charges of senior bureaucrats posted in the administration. The Chief Minister can carry out administrative reshuffle this month. In this reshuffle, some district magistrates can also be shifted from here to there.
With the beginning of the new financial year, the Dhami government will now carry out administrative reshuffle. After senior bureaucrat Anand Bardhan becomes the Chief Secretary, his departments can be allocated to other senior bureaucrats. Three Principal Secretaries RK Sudhanshu, L Fanai and R Meenakshi Sundaram are posted in the administration.
With Bardhan becoming the CS, his major charges which have become vacant can be divided among these three Principal Secretaries. Apart from these, the secretaries posted in the administration can also be given new responsibilities. Those bureaucrats promoted from Additional Secretary to Secretary, who are currently handling one or two responsibilities, may get some important departments.
Charges of some officers can also be changed at the Additional Secretary level. Apart from the administration, there are heated discussions about changing the District Magistrates in some districts. It is believed that the District Magistrates of two districts each in Garhwal and Kumaon may be shifted from one place to the other. Since Panchayat elections may be announced next month, a major administrative reshuffle is likely to take place this month before the Panchayat elections.
