Haridwar: Vikas Sankalp Parv was organized at Rishikul ground on Friday. During this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that no laxity will be shown to make the Kanwar fair divine and grand. Said that the Kanwar fair and the Kumbh Mela to be held in 2027 will also be safe and historic. For this, we are determined to make all the necessary arrangements. During this, 107 development projects worth more than Rs 550 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid in Haridwar district.
The CM said that earlier the basis of selection in recruitments was copying and corruption, but now the youth are being selected only on the basis of talent and ability. This is the reason that 24 thousand recruitments have been completed with complete transparency. Said that by reducing the unemployment rate of the state by a record 4.4 percent, the national average has also been surpassed.
The CM said that I want to say clearly that the corrupt should either reform themselves or be ready to go to jail. He said that it is a matter of great fortune for me that I have come to Maa Ganga and Dharmnagari Haridwar in my four-year tenure. He said that it was on this day that I took over the reins of the state.

On this special day, I am happy to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 107 development projects worth more than Rs 550 crore in Haridwar district. All these projects will not only prove helpful in strengthening the infrastructure in Haridwar district, but will also provide new impetus to the development of the region along with providing better facilities to the citizens. Our Uttarakhand has got the first place in the country in the index of achieving the goals of sustainable development released by NITI Aayog on better work.
He said that with the schemes, the daughters of the state are not only getting selected in government services, but are also becoming self-reliant through self-help groups, startups and small industries. He said that I say with pride that whatever we said, we did it and whatever we say in the future, we will do it too. This will definitely prove the resolve to make Uttarakhand the best state.
