Dehradun: A new structure is being prepared for the construction wing in Uttarakhand Forest Department. Through this, efforts will be made to increase the quality of construction works in the department. At present, this new step is being considered at the government level. A large amount of construction work is done under the Forest Department. A huge budget is also spent on these works, but in the department, this work is not done by any engineer or experts of the construction sector, but the officers and employees of the Forest Department themselves look after it. In view of this, now the Forest Department has started preparing a new structure.
For this, the Forest Headquarters has sent a proposal to the government. Which is being considered at the government level. Under this, a structure of engineers will be prepared in the Forest Department. These engineers will also look after the DPR of various construction related works and other various works in the department.
Efforts to bring engineers on deputation: Engineers will be brought on deputation in the forest department. For this, how many engineers are needed in the department? A complete blueprint will be prepared for this. After which engineers from various departments will be able to come here on deputation. The same system is already in place in the forest department for veterinarians. Now efforts are being made to bring engineers in the construction wing in the same way.
With the creation of a new structure of engineers in the department, even better work will be possible in construction works. With this thought, this proposal has been prepared, on which the final decision has to be taken by the government.
