The Municipal Corporation is now corresponding with the government for clear guidelines in this matter so that the way can be cleared about the veracity of the order and further action on it. Actually, three days ago, a woman was attacked by Rottweiler dogs in the Municipal Corporation area. The woman was seriously injured in this.
After the incident, the Municipal Corporation had banned the registration of dogs of 23 banned breeds, citing the order of the Government of India in March 2025. At the same time, after the strictness of the Municipal Corporation, a large number of people are reaching the office to get the dogs registered. In this episode, on Thursday, a person reached to register his Rottweiler dog and showed the corporation the second order issued by the Government of India in May 2025 on this order, which said that the order issued in March has been suspended.
Crowd to register dogs
After the incident of Rottweiler dogs attacking a woman, the number of people registering dogs in the Municipal Corporation has increased. While about 400 people had registered and renewed in the last three months, more than 100 people have registered in the last two days. The Municipal Corporation has also formed four teams taking strict measures. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to the cleaning inspectors, supervisors and environment friends to check the registration of any house in which a dog is seen.
Its effect is also visible in the people, due to which now people are also looking serious for the registration of dogs. According to the data of the Municipal Corporation, about 40 new registrations were done on Wednesday. More than 60 registrations were done till Thursday evening.
