Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has assured justice and security to the family of the Nainital rape victim. He spoke to the family of the victim over the phone on Friday. The Chief Minister assured all possible help to the affected family. Said that the state government stands strongly with the victim and her family.
He directed the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police Nainital to provide necessary security and all kinds of administrative assistance to the victim’s family promptly. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the District Magistrate directed the Probation Officer to link the victim with the sponsorship scheme.
Instructed the Social Welfare Officer to complete the process of permissible financial assistance to the girl and make it available by tomorrow. Told the victim’s family that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, the state government will also make arrangements for proper education of the victim girl and her sister.
