During the upcoming Chardham Yatra, mobile phones will be completely banned within a 70-meter radius of the temple premises in Badrinath and Kedarnath. Devotees will not be able to film reels or videos near the temple. The administration and temple committee have taken this decision to maintain the sanctity of the shrines and ensure smooth darshan arrangements.
Hemant Dwivedi, President of the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), stated that the temple committee will coordinate with the administration to improve the arrangements at Badrinath-Kedarnath Dham. Keeping in mind the faith, safety, and dignity of the devotees, there will be a complete ban on the use of mobile phones and the making of reels and videos within a 70-meter radius of the temple premises. This decision has been taken to maintain the sanctity of the shrine and ensure easy darshan arrangements for pilgrims.
Before the start of the Yatra, all the temple committee’s rest houses will be equipped for the convenience of pilgrims. Sanitation, drinking water, electricity, toilets, and other essential basic amenities are being strengthened.
A board meeting of the Temple Committee will be held soon, in which necessary budget provisions will be made for travel-related arrangements and traveler amenities. The Temple Committee is committed to providing pilgrims with a safe, well-organized, and devotional travel experience.
