Minister-in-Charge Mr. Saurabh Bahuguna, who was on a visit to the district, held a meeting with district-level officials on Sunday regarding assets damaged by the disaster and areas affected by the disaster. During the meeting, he reviewed department-wise work and praised the work done at the department-level during the disaster. He also directed officials to work in coordination with each other. During the meeting held in the auditorium of the district office, Minister-in-Charge Mr. Bahuguna took a department-wise review of the damage caused in the district during the last monsoon season. He reviewed the affected roads, irrigation canals, drinking water schemes, health, and other departments in the district and provided necessary guidance to the concerned departmental officials. He also praised the efficiency and promptness of the officials during the monsoon season. He advised the officials to continuously contact local MLAs for the schemes for which proposals have been submitted to the government and make every effort to get the schemes approved. He said that while providing as much assistance as possible to those affected by the disaster as per the standards, it is also necessary to demonstrate humanity. The goal should be to provide benefits to every disaster victim as per their needs. He stated that only through mutual coordination between all departments can projects truly be implemented. Prior to this, he inspected the damaged roads of the Public Works Department, PMGSY, and National Highways. He directed the Public Works Department, Ukhimath, to begin work on the Mayali-Guptkashi motorway, the Makku motorway, and the Bijrakot motorway of PWD Rudraprayag as soon as possible. He also issued necessary instructions regarding the Rudraprayag-Gaurikund National Highway. Rudraprayag MLA Shri Bharat Singh Chaudhary stated that many motor roads under the PMGSY are ready, but the bridge construction work has been assigned to the Bridge and Roof Agency, which has prevented them from being used. He also advised officials regarding the Jawadi Bypass and Sirohbagad, stating that safe reconstruction work on these national highways is essential in view of upcoming travel. Kedarnath MLA Smt. Asha Nautiyal asked for the construction of drinking water lines damaged after the disaster and to expedite the works of Jal Jeevan Mission. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Smt.
