Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today held a meeting with BJP party officials and workers at Mahatma Yogeshwar Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Mussoorie regarding the preparations for the Raksha Bandhan program proposed in the coming month of August.
During the meeting, Minister Joshi said that Raksha Bandhan is a major festival of Indian culture, which is a symbol of respect for the mother power and the strength of the brother-sister relationship. He called for ensuring the participation of the mother power in maximum numbers.
After the meeting, Minister Joshi also discussed the public problems of the Mussoorie area. He assured the people associated with the street vendors business that they will be identified soon and shops will be allotted to them, so that their livelihood can be secured.
On this occasion, Nagar Palika President Meera Saklani, Mandal President Rajat Agarwal, Mohan Petwal, OP Uniyal, Rakesh Rawat, Satish, Vijay, Rajendra Rawat, Vishal Kharola, Amit Bhatt, Kushal Rana, Dharampal Pawar and many other workers and officials were present.
