Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) is continuing strict action against illegal plotting within the authority area. In this sequence, today illegal plotting done on about 10 bigha land near Mohd. Kamil Dwar, Gyan Einstein School located at Sheeshambada Parwal Road was demolished.
This action was taken on the orders of Joint Secretary Gaurav Chatwal. Illegal constructions were removed in the presence of Assistant Engineer Abhishek Bhardwaj, Junior Engineer Naunsi, Supervisor and adequate police force on the spot. This action of MDDA is considered a big step towards preventing illegal plotting in future.
MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that zero tolerance policy has been adopted on illegal plotting and encroachment. As per the instructions of the state government, strict action will be taken against illegal construction or plotting wherever it is done in the authority area. People are appealed to confirm approval from MDDA before buying and selling land.
