The Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has continued its crackdown on illegal constructions and plotting within its jurisdiction. Several multi-story buildings were sealed during this period. This action by the authority is considered crucial towards ensuring urban planning and safe development in the city. MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said, “We are continuously taking action to completely stop illegal constructions and plotting in the city. No leniency will be shown against those who violate the rules. Our aim is to ensure safe and orderly urban development for citizens. Strict action will be taken against anyone who constructs without the authority’s approval.”

Pacific Golf Sahastradhara Road: The illegal multi-story building constructed by Mayank Gupta was sealed on the spot. Kulhan Mansingh Sahastradhara Road: Action was taken against an illegal building constructed by Suraj Haider and the building was sealed. Nehru Colony, Awas Vikas, Dehradun: Action was taken against an illegal construction by Vaibhav Bajaj and the building was sealed. Assistant Engineer Shailendra Singh Rawat, Junior Engineer Gaurav Tomar, Vidita Supervision, Assistant Engineer Rajendra Bahuguna, and Junior Engineer Yashpal were present on the scene and monitored the entire process.
