The Dhami government made a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy on Saturday. 19 IAS and 11 PCS officers have been transferred. Under this, the secretaries of important departments such as Housing, Health, Drinking Water, Cooperatives, AYUSH, and Planning have been changed. Officers who were recently promoted to the rank of secretary have also been given new responsibilities.
The government has lightened the workload of Principal Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram by removing her responsibilities for Housing, Chief Administrator Housing and Urban Development Authority. She has not been assigned any new department. The Drinking Water department has been removed from Secretary to the Chief Minister Shailesh Bagoli and given to Ranveer Chauhan. Secretary Ranveer Singh Chauhan has been relieved of the responsibilities of State Property and Commissioner Food.
Secretary Sachin Kurve has now been given the responsibility of Civil Aviation along with Medical Health and Medical Education, Commissioner Health, and Project Director Health System. The government has removed the responsibility of Director Audit from Finance Secretary Dilip Jawalkar. The remaining departments remain unchanged. The Cooperatives department has been removed from Secretary Animal Husbandry Dr. BVRC Purushottam and given to Dr. Ahmed Iqbal, who recently became a secretary. The Health department has been taken away from Secretary Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar. He has now been given the responsibility of Housing, State Property Department, Commissioner Housing, Chief Administrator Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority.
All departments have been removed from Dr. Ahmed Iqbal as Additional Secretary.
Secretary Sainik Welfare Dipendra Chaudhary has been relieved of the Secretariat Administration and AYUSH and AYUSH Education departments. Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman has been relieved of the responsibilities of General Administration and the Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project. The remaining departments will remain unchanged. All departments have been removed from Dr. Ahmed Iqbal as Additional Secretary. Secretary Ranjana Rajguru has been relieved of the responsibility of Additional Secretary School Education and given the AYUSH and AYUSH Education departments.
Secretary Anand Swaroop has been relieved of all departments, including Disaster Management, and has now been given the responsibility of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Commissioner Food, and Project Director Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project. Secretary Dev Krishna Tiwari has now been given Planning. All departments related to Additional Secretary have been removed. Secretary Umesh Narayan Pandey has been given the Reorganization and Language departments. Secretary Rajendra Kumar has been given the General Administration Department, while Additional Secretary Ayush and Ayush Education Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande has also been given the Election Department.
Nainital Chief Development Officer Anamika has been placed on compulsory waiting by the government. IAS Praveen Kumar’s compulsory waiting period has ended, and he has been given the responsibilities of Additional Director Urban Development and Additional Municipal Commissioner, Dehradun Municipal Corporation. Additional Secretary Manmohan Mainali from the Finance Service has been given the responsibility of Director Audit.
11 PCS Officers Transferred, Arvind Pandey is the new Nainital CDO
The government has also transferred 11 PCS officers. Divisional Food Controller Arvind Pandey has now been appointed as the Chief Development Officer of Nainital. PCS Dinesh Pratap Singh has been relieved of his responsibilities at the Doiwala Sugar Mill. His other responsibilities in the housing department will remain unchanged. Rudraprayag SDM Anil Kumar Shukla has been appointed as SDM Haridwar. PCS Dayanand has been relieved of his SDM responsibilities in Haridwar. He will continue to serve as Additional Mela Officer. Pauri SDM Nupur has been appointed as Executive Director of Doiwala Sugar Mill. Dehradun City Magistrate Pratyush Singh has been removed from GMVN and given the additional responsibility of Joint Secretary, MDDA. Champawat SDM Akash Joshi has been appointed as SDM Haridwar and also as Deputy Mela Officer. Nainital SDM Rahul Shah has been appointed as SDM Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri SDM Sandeep Kumar as SDM Pauri, Pithoragarh SDM Manjeet Singh Gill as Deputy Mela Officer Haridwar, and Bageshwar SDM Lalit Mohan Tiwari as SDM Pithoragarh
