Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis arrived in the holy city of Haridwar on Wednesday. He first attended a ceremony at the Bharat Mata Temple in the Sapt Rishi area and sought blessings from the saints. After leaving the ceremony, he went directly to the Jagatguru Ashram in Kankhal. He received blessings from Jagatguru Shankaracharya Rajarajeshwarashram Maharaj.
He also took with him a photograph of Jagatguru’s guru, the late Swami Prakashanand, in which he is seen standing with the founders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and wearing a garland.
He had a discussion with the Jagatguru for more than half an hour. Many young people also met Fadnavis and took selfies and photographs with him.
