Dehradun: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission had already completed all the preparations for the preliminary examination for Lower PCS in Uttarakhand. Many centers were set up for this examination in all 13 districts of the state, in which a large number of candidates appeared for the examination.
In the Lower PCS examination in the state, candidates had appeared for the examination for many posts including Naib Tehsildar, Deputy General. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission had issued a recruitment notification for 113 vacant posts. For which the examination has now been conducted. The examination was called from 11 am to 1 pm at various examination centers across the state. This examination was conducted transparently at 238 examination centers in 19 cities of 13 districts in the state.
In this examination, out of a total of 88688 candidates, 54410 candidates appeared for the examination by reaching the examination centers. Whereas 34278 candidates were absent from this examination. If seen in this way, the attendance percentage of candidates was 61.35. That is, 38.65 percent of the total applicants did not appear for the exam. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was preparing for this exam for a long time and after the preliminary exam, the commission is also completing its preparations for the main exam. On the other hand, the candidates were also waiting for this exam for a long time and now they have also expressed happiness over the transparent conduct of this exam. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Secretary Girdhari Singh Rawat said that the exam has been completed in a transparent manner and the commission had already completed its preparations for this.
