Where a leopard attacked an elderly man near the Gair bridge. In which the elderly man suffered deep wounds on his body. Thankfully, the elderly man’s life was saved somehow. It is being told that the leopard is also seen in an injured state. At present, the forest department team has started action to catch the leopard.
According to the information, on Tuesday, May 20, in the morning, a leopard suddenly attacked an elderly man and seriously injured him. This attack took place when the elderly man had come out for his daily work. Thankfully, some other people were also present on the spot. When they made noise, the leopard left the elderly man. After the attack, the leopard passed through the village and hid among the stones near the Gair river.
Deep claw marks on the body of the elderly: It is being told that the leopard was seen in an injured state. At the same time, the local people showed promptness and took the injured elderly to the district hospital Gopeshwar, where the elderly is undergoing treatment. According to the doctors, the condition of the elderly is stable, but there are deep claw marks at many places on the body.
Forest department team trying to catch the leopard: On the other hand, on receiving the information of the leopard attack, the forest department team immediately reached the spot and started the process of catching it. At present, the forest department team is trying to catch the leopard by cordoning off the area. People have come in panic after the leopard attack.
The leopard was already looking injured: According to the eyewitnesses, the leopard was already looking injured. It is believed that this is probably the reason why it went out of control. People also say that there is a garbage dumping yard of the municipality nearby. From where the leopard must have eaten some toxic or infected thing, due to which its condition worsened.
