Today again a sudden landslide occurred near the Kali Mandir Tunnel in Bhimgoda, Haridwar. Due to this a huge amount of debris and stones have fallen on the railway track. Due to the disruption in the railway track, the movement of trains going to and coming from Haridwar-Dehradun-Rishikesh has been affected.
On receiving the information, teams of Railways, RPF and GRP reached the spot and started the work of removing the debris from the track. The work of cleaning and repairing the track is likely to be completed by late night. It is worth noting that this is the third time that debris has fallen at this place. Due to the continuous falling of debris, the trouble of passengers has increased and the timing of trains is getting affected.
