During a meeting of the Agriculture Department at his official residence on Monday, State Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi directed officials to immediately begin preparations for the Kisan Diwas programs to be held at various locations across the state. He also provided clear guidelines regarding the arrangements for the main event scheduled for December 17th in the Karnaprayag development block of Chamoli district.
Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in the main Kisan Diwas program to be held in the Karnaprayag development block of Chamoli district on December 17th. To ensure the successful event, Minister Joshi spoke with the Chamoli District Magistrate, Karnaprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal, and the District President of the Bharatiya Janata Party over the phone to obtain information on the necessary preparations.
Agriculture Secretary Dr. S.N. Pandey, Horticulture Director S.L. Semwal, and senior officials from the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department were present at the meeting.
