In Roorkee, Kanwariyas have badly beaten up a bike rider. Apart from this, a video of stunts by some girls riding a car has also surfaced, due to which the common people have to face a lot of problems. Congress has also taken a dig at this disturbance of Kanwariyas in Uttarakhand and targeted the government.
Uttarakhand Congress State President Karan Mahara says that ever since the BJP’s double engine government has been formed in UP and Uttarakhand, such incidents have increased. Earlier also Shiva devotees used to carry Kanwar comfortably, no one even came to know.
Double engine government held responsible: Karan Mahara says that incidents related to disturbance by Kanwariyas are coming to the fore daily and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is showering flowers on them. Earlier, such a ruckus was not seen during the Kanwar Yatra, but due to the double engine government, such incidents are happening.
Kanwariyas beat up a bike rider: It is being told that last evening, on Thursday, at the Narsan border, Kanwariyas had a quarrel with a bike rider over some trivial matter. After this, the Kanwariyas started beating the bike rider badly. Seeing the anger of the Kanwariyas, no one had the courage to save the bike rider. Somehow, the bike rider managed to save his life and run away from the Kanwariyas.
Video of stunts of young women surfaced: Apart from this, another video has surfaced. In the video, young women are seen doing stunts in a car. The video is being told of Haridwar-Luxor road. During Kanwar, such incidents have become common in Haridwar, on which the Congress has raised questions.
Police fully prepared: At the same time, questions are being raised on the working style of the police as such cases are increasing. On such incidents, IG Law and Order Nilesh Anand Bharane says that the police is constantly talking to the Kanwariyas coming from outside and is also trying to convince them. Apart from this, the police of other states are also working in coordination. If any Kanwariya or person is violating the law and order, action is also being taken against him.
Three crore Kanwariyas expected to arrive by July 23: Police believes that till July 23, about three crore Kanwariyas had reached Haridwar to take Ganga water. In view of such a huge crowd, the police has made tight security arrangements. Along with Uttarakhand Police, Central Police Force is also engaged in security arrangements. Police is also taking strict action against people who spoil the atmosphere of Kanwar.
