Champawat: The fourth group of Kailash Mansarovar 2025 Yatra has left from Tanakpur. On Monday evening, the fourth group reached Tanakpur Sharda Guest House. The group includes 48 devotees from all over the country. On Tuesday, August 5, the group was flagged off for further journey from TRC Guest House Tanakpur with chants of Bhole.
The fourth group of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra reached Guest House Tanakpur on August 4, where the group was welcomed by the TRC management. On Tuesday morning, the Sharda Guest House Manager, members of Maa Purnagiri Environment Conservation Committee and members of social organization Lions Club Tanakpur put a patka and Rudraksh garland on the group and flagged it off from the TRC campus for the next stop.
On Monday also, the fourth batch of Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims reached Tanakpur TRC on Monday evening. Where the TRC manager and the president of Maa Purnagiri Paryavaran Sanrakshan Samiti, Deepa Devi and her entire team welcomed the pilgrims by applying tilak and garlanding them. After the night’s rest of the fourth batch of Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims, on Tuesday morning, the group of devotees of Bhole was sent off for the next stop of the journey from Sharda Guest House Tanakpur premises amid chants of Bhole.
All the pilgrims included in the fourth batch of Mansarovar Yatra were overwhelmed by the arrangements and hospitality of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, the state government. At the same time, the pilgrims said that it is their good fortune that they were selected for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. In this holy month of Shravan, they are going to get the privilege of visiting Kailash Mansarovar.
The pilgrims said that they cannot express this happiness in words. Earlier yesterday, the group of pilgrims danced to the songs of Kumaon culture. Also, he was very happy to get acquainted with the culture of Kumaon.
It is worth noting that the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which was stopped from Uttarakhand by the Government of India during the Corona period, has been started again after 5 years after the initiative of the Uttarakhand government. On July 3, 2025, the first batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from different states of the country reached Tanakpur Sharda Guest House. On the morning of July 4, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami himself reached Tanakpur and flagged off the team for the next stop. Since then, groups of Mansarovar pilgrims are continuously reaching Tanakpur.
