Indian Police Service officer Rachita Juyal’s resignation has been accepted. She had applied for voluntary retirement (VRS). Rachita, a 2015 batch IPS officer of the Uttarakhand cadre, had submitted her application for VRS to Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan.
Rachita was currently serving as Superintendent of Police in the Vigilance Department. She held several important positions during her service, including serving as ADC to the Governor at Raj Bhavan. From there, she was on central deputation to the Intelligence Bureau. News of her resignation suddenly began circulating on social media.
