In the staff meeting of the Municipal Corporation, the Municipal Commissioner gave strict instructions to the land section. Section officers will be held responsible if the complaints are not resolved within time.
The work of the corporation officers was reviewed by Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Dehradun, Namami Bansal. In the meeting, necessary guidelines were provided to the officers present from various sections of the corporation as follows.
Major instructions given in the meeting โ
The lighting in-charge was instructed to submit a clear report of the complaints received daily and their disposal. It should also be ensured that the complaints are resolved on time and its information will be submitted in a timely manner.
The officers of the health section were instructed to provide information about the status of vehicles running in each ward, the number of damaged vehicles and garbage collection (route coverage).
Necessary action should be taken to repair the vehicles and improve the condition of the entire plant operation.
The officers of the land section were instructed to submit a report of the action taken on the complaints received and a report should be given on how much encroached land has been freed so far and a roster should be prepared for the upcoming campaigns.
For the works related to Public Works Department, the officers were instructed to provide information about the progress of development works and the photographs of each work before its commencement and after its completion must be preserved on the file so that the transparency of the work is maintained.
The officers of the Veterinary Section were instructed to run a public awareness campaign to prevent the increasing incidents related to stray animals and dogs in the city and to speed up the process of making dog licenses by organizing meetings with RWA and other organizations.
For personnel management, the officers of each department should immediately provide the details of the vacant and working posts in their section. Also, all the translation officers were instructed to take the complaints received on the CM Helpline seriously and ensure their disposal within time.
In the meeting, all the departmental officers were instructed that transparency, quick disposal and public convenience should be given top priority in the works of the Municipal Corporation.
