Dehradun: The enthusiasm of the devotees coming from all over the world in the Chardham Yatra is constantly increasing. In the 45-day journey, more than 28 lakh devotees have visited Hemkund Sahib apart from the four dhams. In this, the number of people who have visited Kedarnath Dham has crossed 10 lakh. More than 70 thousand devotees are visiting the darshan every day. This time the Chardham Yatra started from April 30. Even after the challenges of the weather, there is a large crowd of devotees for darshan in the four dhams and Hemkund Sahib. According to the report of the tourism department, the yatra to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri Dham is progressing rapidly. Bad weather is also testing the devotees. Despite this, the steps of faith are not stopping. There is an arrangement of offline registration along with online for the journey. The number of offline registrations at the centres in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Harrbatpur, Vikasnagar is increasing. Up to 28 thousand offline registrations are being done one day.
Yogendra Gangwar, the nodal officer of Chardham Yatra registration, says that the Chardham Yatra is going on smoothly. So far, 42 lakh passengers have registered. Of these, more than 28 lakh have visited.
