Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the central government is continuously working towards building a self-reliant nation. Today, destructive forces like terrorism and Naxalism are not daring to raise their heads in the country. It is a result of your tireless efforts that today the country is making unprecedented progress in the cooperative sector, which is creating a strong institutional framework for overall development. Gita Press has been making an unparalleled contribution to the preservation and promotion of our Sanatan culture, scriptures, and Indian knowledge tradition for the past hundred years. In ancient India, when foreign powers were creating ideological confusion and misleading society, the Gita Press family did the historic work of awakening the Indian public by publishing pure and authentic editions of our great Sanatani texts like Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Shri Ramcharitmanas, Upanishads, Puranas, etc., at minimal cost.
Since its establishment in 1923, Gita Press has published more than 101 crore religious books, not only preserving our culture and knowledge tradition but also enriching it. It is a matter of pride for all of us that the centenary issue of Kalyan magazine, started by Gita Press, was released by the Home Minister today. Kalyan magazine has not only been working for the past hundred years to instill spiritual consciousness and Indian values within us, but it has also been making a very significant contribution to the development of morality, good conduct, and cultural awareness. CM Dhami said that our state government is continuously working to establish Devbhoomi Uttarakhand as the spiritual capital of the country. We are also striving to safeguard cultural values and democracy in the state.
Home Minister Amit Shah said that I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Gita Press for giving me the opportunity to be present on the auspicious occasion of the release of the 100th issue of Kalyan magazine. Every person in India who has faith in Sanatan Dharma, every person in the world who is looking towards Indian culture for solutions to the world’s problems, and every person who loves this land, cannot be unaware of Gita Press.
