Rudraprayag: Some passengers from Andhra Pradesh have been cheated in the name of helicopter ticket booking. The passengers reached Kedarghati after visiting Gangotri, but even after paying thirty thousand rupees for each ticket, they could not get the ticket. After which the victims have registered a case with the police. At the same time, the Guptkashi police has registered a case and started investigation.
In fact, Penta Ratnakar son of Ramchandra Muthi resident Kasibugga Palasa, Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh), who came to Kedarnath Dham Yatra, gave a complaint to the Guptkashi police station. In which he has said that his group had left for Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand through a travel agency. Along with the travel package, money was also taken for helicopter tickets for Kedarnath Dham at the rate of 15 thousand rupees per person.
When they reached Guptkashi from Gangotri yesterday, the travel agency operators related to them demanded an additional 30 thousand rupees per person in the name of getting helicopter tickets from Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham. On which they sent the money for the tickets on different Phone Pay accounts. On Monday, i.e. today morning, when everyone got ready to go to Kedarnath Dham, no helicopter tickets were provided.
On the basis of the complaint of the complainant, Section 318 (4) 61 of the Indian Penal Code was registered in Guptkashi police station. In which the police has registered a case against Manish Kumar resident of Paharganj (Delhi), Potnoru Ramarao son Jagannath resident Gandhinagar, Paralakemundi, Gajapati (Odisha), Ashish resident 12 A Saraswati Marg Karolbagh owner Sahara Tour and Travels Delhi and unknown helicopter service and has started investigation.
