The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has released a preliminary report on the plane crash in Gangani, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Six people lost their lives in the accident. The report claims that the pilot attempted an emergency landing on the Uttarkashi-Gangotri National Highway, but failed. During landing, the main rotor collided with an overhead fiber cable running along the road, causing the accident.
However, when the Uttarkashi district administration was talked to about this, they denied knowledge of any such report
The helicopter broke into two pieces
The accident was so terrible that the plane broke into two pieces as soon as it fell. The five people on board were already thrown out. The condition of two of the bodies was very bad. But two bodies were stuck inside the helicopter. The operation team had to work hard to take them out. The helicopter was cut through a cutter. After that the bodies were taken out. At the same time, the operation was difficult due to the steep rock in the ditch.

DGCA is also investigating
After the accident, the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). After which the DGCA and the Civil Aviation team are also investigating this accident.
