Heavy rain is expected in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand on Thursday as well. However, there will be relief in the plains. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Centre, a yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh districts.
Apart from this, light rain is expected in some parts of Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Talking about the coming days, light rain is expected across the state till September 23. Meteorologists say that due to climate change and changed weather patterns, this time there is more heavy rain in the monsoon.
