Heavy rain is expected in the hilly districts of Uttarakhand on Monday. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for heavy to very heavy rain in some parts of Nainital and Bageshwar districts including Dehradun.
Apart from this, heavy rains with thunder are also expected in other districts. Along with this, strong winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of heavy rains with thunder across the state till July 19.
73 roads including Milam-Munsyari border road closed
Milam-Munsyari border road in Pithoragarh district did not open even on the third day. 73 roads are still closed due to debris after rain. This is the situation when the government has given instructions to open the closed roads within two hours.
Rain has wreaked havoc in the state. After the rain, some part of the Milan-Munsyari border road was washed away at kilometer 22. At the same time, debris has come on kilometer 24 in the same route. Which could not be opened for vehicular movement even on the third day on Sunday. According to the State Emergency Operation Center, 81 roads were closed in the state on Sunday morning.
