Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya participated in a health check-up and treatment camp at the Takula Primary Health Center in the Someshwar Assembly constituency on Saturday as part of the “Healthy Women, Empowered Family” campaign. More than 400 women and girls underwent check-ups at the camp.
Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated his birthday this year to raising awareness about women’s health. As part of this initiative, free health check-up and treatment camps for women and girls are being organized across the state from September 17th to October 2nd. She informed that more than 400 women and girls have been examined at the Takula camp so far.
She stated that the goal of making India a developed country by 2047 can only be achieved if the health of girls and women improves.
She stated that it is a matter of great joy for the residents of the area that the Takula Primary Health Center will soon be upgraded to a Community Health Center. On Saturday, she discussed this issue with the Chief Medical Officer, where she directed that the necessary procedures for upgrading standards be completed expeditiously.

Following the event, Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya visited several homes and shops in Takula and discussed the recent GST rate changes with housewives and shopkeepers. Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya stated that the public and businesses are happy that essential goods for the poor and middle class have been brought down from the 18% to the 5% slab. This will reduce their expenses and help increase purchasing power. The Cabinet Minister stated that this change will greatly benefit housewives.

Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya held a public hearing in the Harju Temple courtyard in Dotial Village, Someshwar Assembly constituency, on Saturday. On this occasion, she stated that the area’s demands, including the construction of an electricity substation, a gas warehouse, and the introduction of civil and pharmacy trades at the Polytechnic, have been met. The demand for barbed wire fencing to protect crops will also be met soon. Regarding the public’s demand for a road, she stated that if land is made available, the road will be built. On this occasion, she also announced a grant of 2.5 lakh rupees from the MLA fund for the beautification of the temple
