At the White Coat Ceremony for the 2025 medical students held at the Government Medical College, Almora, the State Medical Health Minister, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, administered the Charak Pledge to the students. He urged them to pursue their MBBS studies with full dedication and wished them a bright future. At the ceremony, Almora MP and Union Minister of State, Ajay Tamta, and Congress MLA from Almora, Manoj Tiwari, highly praised the development work of Education and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat. They stated that Dr. Rawat’s departments have accomplished unprecedented work, which is benefiting the entire state. The State Medical Health and Medical Education Minister, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, visited the Almora Medical College today and administered the Charak Pledge to the new batch of MBBS students. Dr. Rawat stated that the contribution of doctors to the medical field has been unparalleled. Keeping this in mind, all students pursuing the MBBS course should complete their medical studies with full dedication and commitment, contributing to society’s full potential. Only then will the purpose of the Charak Pledge be fulfilled. Dr. Rawat stated that to provide high-quality medical services at Almora Medical College, all types of medical equipment and super-specialist doctors have been deployed. In the future, postgraduate classes will also be conducted at the medical college, enabling the graduates to provide better services to the state. Almora MP and Union Minister of State Ajit Tamta also wished the new batch of MBBS students a bright future and praised Health Minister Dr. Rawat for the facilities available at the medical college. Present at the ceremony, local Congress MLA Manoj Tiwari also praised the departmental minister for the opening of Almora Medical College and the high-quality medical facilities available to the public. MLA Tiwari stated that he and other public representatives have duly fulfilled all the demands for facilities at the medical college, as per the needs of the local population. Furthermore, the local MLA praised the thousands of appointments made in the education, health, and medical education departments. He expressed hope that the Health Minister will continue to work diligently to provide modern medical facilities at Almora Medical College in the future. Almora Mayor Ajay Verma, MLA Pramod Nainwal, Minister of State with Independent Charge Ganga Bisht, former MLA Raghunath Chauhan, BJP District President Mahesh Nayal, Medical College Principal Dr. C.P.
