He said that the Kanwar Yatra is a symbol of devotion to Lord Shiva, in which devotees from all over the country bring the holy water of Mother Ganga from thousands of kilometers away and anoint the Shivling in their village, city or locality.
Warning given to those who create disturbance: CM Saini said that Kanwar is not only a religious journey, but it is a festival of faith, dedication and discipline. He also said that if any mischievous element tries to create a ruckus in the name of this (Kanwar Yatra) faith, then strict action will be taken against him. He appealed to the public to maintain the dignity of all the journey and complete it peacefully.
