Next month, Haldwani is going to get an international level Astro Turf Hockey Stadium. The construction work of the stadium is almost complete.
On Friday, Sports Minister Rekha Arya inspected the Astro Turf Hockey Stadium being built at Manaskhand Sports Complex in Gaulapar, Haldwani. She said that all the facilities in the stadium are being made of international level and the construction work is in its final stage.
On this occasion, Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that after the construction of the hockey stadium, regional players will be able to practice and train here regularly. The Sports Minister said that this stadium is a new dimension in the direction of making Uttarakhand a Devbhoomi as well as a sports land.
She said that the way sports facilities are being continuously increased in all the cities and towns of the state, this will definitely give the players of Uttarakhand an opportunity to move forward in the sports world.
