State Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Water Resources, Religious Endowments, and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj stated that by attending the event to mark Uttarakhand’s 25-year development journey and offering his blessings, as well as by gifting the state with a substantial package of development projects worth ₹8,260.72 crore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again demonstrated his special affection for Uttarakhand, and will always remain so.
State Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Water Resources, Religious Endowments, and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj stated that whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited Uttarakhand, he has bestowed numerous development projects upon the state. During the past 25 years, most of the development work in Uttarakhand has been and is being undertaken under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance. He assured that the state government will work towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aspirations and establish Devbhoomi Uttarakhand as the “Spiritual Capital of the World” in the coming years. In the coming years, the government will strive to increase the number of homestays at spiritually and touristically important places in the remote areas of the state that are being developed as Vibrant Villages, so that more and more tourists can come to Uttarakhand and enjoy the beautiful natural and geographical beauty as well as the spiritual experience.
Mr. Maharaj said that the state government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, is continuously developing more infrastructure facilities in the perennial tourist destination to promote the winter Chardham Yatra and tourism.
