Government promoted three Tehsildars to the post of Deputy Collector
Dehradun: The government has promoted three Tehsildars to the post of Deputy Collector. At the same time, the transfer of PCS Himanshu Kafaltia has been stopped. He will remain the Secretary of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Changes were made in the transfer orders of several Additional Secretaries including Jharna Kamthan.
According to the order, Tehsildar Sohan Singh, Priyanka Rani and Lalit Mohan Tiwari have been promoted to the post of Deputy Collector under the DPC conducted by the State Public Service Commission on April 21. Their promotion will be subject to the decision of Priyanka Rani vs State of Uttarakhand filed in the High Court.
Transfer order of March 17 cancelled
Ending the compulsory wait of Additional Secretary Shreesh Kumar, the government has given him the responsibility of Secretary Right to Service Commission. Removing Finance from Additional Secretary Jharna Kamthan, she has been made Additional Secretary Rural Development and Project Director UGVS-REAP.
PCS Mohammad Nasir has been removed from the Administrative Academy and has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Reorganization Department. Cancelling the transfer order of March 17, the government has retained PCS Himanshu Kafaltia on the post of Selection Commission Secretary.
