During the festivals, the Railways will run a festival special train between Sabarmati and Haridwar. The special train, which will run from October 15, has also been given a stoppage at Roorkee railway station. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Aditya Gupta said that 09425-26 Sabarmati-Haridwar-Sabarmati Festival Express will run 14 trips on both sides between October 15 and November 30.
The train will leave Sabarmati railway station every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:50 am and reach Haridwar at 5:30 am the next day. The train will leave Haridwar railway station every Thursday and Sunday at 9:40 pm and reach Sabarmati at 9:30 pm the next day.
In addition to Haridwar, the train will stop at Roorkee, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Delhi Cantt, Gurugram, Rewari, Alwar, Dausa, Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Marwar, Falna, Abu Road, Palanpur, and Mehsana railway stations. The Senior DCM stated that the operation of the special train will facilitate travel for passengers during the festive season
