Doon Police have questioned gangster Vikram Sharma’s younger brother, Arvind Sharma, in connection with his murder. Suspicion in this case lies squarely with those close to Vikram Sharma.
Notorious gangster Vikram Sharma was shot dead at the Silver City Mall on the morning of February 13th. Originally from Bajpur, Uttarakhand, he had a long criminal history in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. As he was leaving the gym, two shooters, lying in wait on the mall stairs, fired at him at close range. Following the attack, the two shooters, along with a third accomplice, fled on a motorcycle.
Vikram was considered the mentor of notorious Jamshedpur gangster Akhilesh Singh. He was involved in property dealing and stone crushing operations in Uttarakhand. Initially, police were linking the incident to a gang war in Jharkhand, but now the investigation has shifted to a property dispute.
SP City Pramod Kumar stated that Doon Police are investigating every aspect of the case. CCTV footage has been examined and surveillance teams are working. Digital evidence has been collected. Vikram Sharma’s brother has been questioned in the case, although he is not named.
