Haridwar: On the martyrdom of Rifleman Sameer Ale (26 years), resident of Dehradun and posted in Gorkha Rifles (6/5 GR), Siliguri, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi today paid emotional tribute to him on behalf of the state government by laying a wreath on his mortal remains in Haridwar.
Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi met the bereaved family and consoled them and assured all possible help from the state government. He said that the state government always stands with the martyrs and their families. It is worth noting that Rifleman Sameer Ale attained martyrdom during duty training activities in Siliguri.
On this occasion, District Sainik Welfare Officer Dr. Sarita Panwar, District Agriculture Officer Bhandari, DHO Tejpal, DDO Vedpal and many other dignitaries were present.
