Dehradun: Strict action will now be taken against impersonators who cheat people in the name of Sanatan Dharma in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to start Operation Kalanemi.
Many such cases have come to light in the state where anti-social elements are cheating people especially women by disguising themselves as saints and sages. This is not only hurting religious sentiments, but also tarnishing the image of the Sanatan tradition.
The Chief Minister said that just as the demon Kalanemi misled people by assuming the form of a saint, similarly many Kalanemis are active in the society today. The government is committed to protecting the Sanatan culture and maintaining social harmony. Those who spread hypocrisy in the name of faith will not be spared under any circumstances and strict legal action will be taken against them.
