Four minor students studying at a madrasa in the Pathri police station area of Haridwar have gone missing under suspicious circumstances. Based on a complaint, the police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under sections related to kidnapping. Several police teams have been dispatched to search for the four boys.
According to the police, a resident of Alawalpur Pathri informed them that his 15-year-old son left home without informing anyone around 2:30 PM on December 14th. He was accompanied by three of his friends. All four were studying at the madrasa and pursuing a course to become Hafiz (those who have memorized the entire Quran). When all four went missing simultaneously, a search was launched, but they could not be found.
Inquiries in the surrounding area revealed that the four boys boarded a train from Aithal railway station around 3:30 PM the same day and went somewhere. A complaint was then filed with the police on Monday evening. The police have registered a case. Station House Officer Manoj Nautiyal said that the teenagers are being searched for at railway stations and other possible locations. Separate teams have been sent to Uttar Pradesh and other places
