The state government may gift employees a bonus and dearness allowance before Diwali. The Finance Department has begun preparations for this. The government may announce it soon.
The central government has decided to provide employees with a 3 percent DA, revising the dearness allowance rate from 55 percent to 58 percent effective July 1, 2025. The state government may also release bonuses and DA to employees before Diwali.
The State Employees Joint Council has requested Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to release bonuses and DA before Diwali. Additional Secretary Finance Dr. Ahmed Iqbal stated that the process for bonuses and DA is underway at the government level.
