Uttarkashi: After the terrible disaster in Dharali of Uttarkashi on 5 August 2025, the search for missing people is continuing on the 8th day today on Tuesday 12 August. The District Emergency Operations Center has released a new list of missing and dead in the Dharali disaster. There are names of 68 people in this list. These also include the names of two dead persons. 24 people from Nepal are missing in the Dharali disaster.
Emergency Operations Center released the list of dead and missing people: In the list released by the Uttarkashi District Emergency Operations Center, Akash son of Mahavir Singh resident Dharali, Tehsil Bhatwadi has been reported dead. Bhim Singh Shekhat son Mahesh Singh Shekhawat, resident of Kotputli Rajasthan has been reported dead.
List of 66 missing and 2 dead: So far this is the only death shown in this disaster. Apart from 24 missing people from Nepal, 42 people from various states including Uttarakhand have been reported missing. A total of 66 people including Nepali citizens are listed as missing.
According to the government list, a total of 7 people from Dharali in Uttarkashi are reported missing.

A person from Haryana is also reported missing.
Search for missing people continues in Dharali: The missing people in the disaster in Dharali of Uttarkashi are being searched with the help of radar and sniffer dogs. The ever-changing weather is creating problems for the teams of Army, ITBP, NDRF, SDRF, local police and administration engaged in the search operation, but the team gets busy with its operation as soon as the rain stops.
