The temple committee has clarified that devotees coming wearing short, provocative or indecent clothes will not be allowed to enter the temple premises. These days this matter is in discussion.
Ban on wearing indecent clothes in Bhadraraj temple: ETV Bharat spoke directly to the officer of the temple committee about this. Bhadraraj temple committee president Rajesh Nautiyal said that this is not a new rule, but an information board was installed in the temple premises three years ago.
It was clearly written in the board that entry into the temple is prohibited if you come wearing short clothes and indecent clothes. In recent times, some devotees were reaching the temple in such clothes, which are not in accordance with the local culture and religious norms. In view of this, the temple committee has now decided to strictly follow this. If a devotee reaches the temple in indecent clothes unknowingly or due to negligence, he will not be turned away. The temple committee will provide him a dhoti, wearing which he will be able to respectfully visit the Lord.
